The tiger stance allows you to kick out with the front leg with virtually no rocking motion to the hind leg. From the position of attention stance(or moa seogi), bring one foot forward about the length of one foot. The most important thing you must remember in executing this stance is that the front foot is pulled off the floor with only the ball of the foot touching. And open your rear foot about thirty degrees outward the axis of the back sole. Make sure the sole of your rear foot completely touches the floor. Now, both knees should be slightly bent and flexed slightly inward. So, when you look down, your knee should be pointed to your tiptoes in the same direction. By doing so, the center of gravity is entirely on the rear foot.
