When your sabeomnim says “Charyeot”, it means you take an “attention stance”. Put your feet and knees together. Bring your chest out like soldiers and hold your arms tightly to the sides. This is the standard pose you should take when your sambeomnim yells "line up" for class. You are not supposed to move while in attention position.

 “Junbi” means taking a ready position. Put your feet a shoulder-width apart and keep them parallel. Hold your fists in front of your belt knot with your arms slightly bent. The gap between your fists and the belt knot should be a fist-width. It is the beginning and end of most of the training forms.
