Often many new students don’t realize that all the rules of the Dojang apply outside it as well. Let’s say you run into your instructor on the street. Believe it or not, you should come to attention and bow just as you normally would at the Dojang.

¼Á¤À± ±³¼ö.

The same goes for your classmates. When you run into him or her in public, always show proper respect. Whether you meet him or her at the bus stop or the corner deli, stop and bow. It may feel odd at first, but remember that you are part of a brotherhood or sisterhood. Be proud of it.

Bad things such as drugs, abusive language, or bad behavior should have no place in the life of a taekwondo-in. How you play with other friends is also very important. As a taekwondo-in, you are not allowed to make fun of others.

And you must listen to your parents - even when you think they are wrong. You are required to help your parents as much as possible. This is sometimes hard but training in taekwondo will help you know more about right and wrong than you think and carry out the decisions you feel are right.
